Prophet Bisi Olujobi, the General Overseer of Wisdom Church International, Ketu, Lagos State, has warned he sees a shameful end of Primate Elijah Ayodele.
He also said leading pastors in the country such as Pastor W. F Kumuyi of Deeper Life Church; Pastor Enoch Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, have limited time on earth.
The cleric said that the ministries of Bishop David Oyedepo and Primate Ayodele will face great danger in the running year.
He said these men should hand over to the younger generation because they “are all having their last revival. They should tidy up their house and hand over to the younger generation as their time on earth is limited,” Bisi Olujobi said in a statement he signed and made available on Friday.
He continued, “The likes of Bishop David Oyedepo, Primate Ayodele Elijah Babatunde, will both face stiff opposition that will bring a dagger to their ministry.
“Babatunde especially, should run to God for cover for I see his ministry coming to a shameful end.”
“The likes of Pastor Kumuyi, Pastor Adeboye, Prophet Olowore, are all having their last revival, they should tidy up their house and handover to the younger generation as their time on earth is limited,” he said.
Bishop David Oyedepo, the Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Church has said that Fulani herdsmen have become a menace in Nigeria and that he knows that they are being sponsored.
His statement comes even as herders under the Miyetti Allah Kauta Hore have said they will not recognize the Southern governors’ anti-grazing policy, describing it as ‘satanic.’
Oyedepo while preaching in his church recently, said the last five years from 2015 till now has been the worst in the history of Nigeria.
”Fulani herdsmen have become a menace. They are sponsored. I know it. There are things you think you know that God shows to prophets. The things they are calling findings now, I found it longest time. You don’t need intelligence antenna as a Prophet to find it.
“I saw this government coming in with a bloodthirsty cloth and I cried.
“The worst time in the history of Nigeria is 2015 to now and it is getting worse day by day. The end has finally come.
“Apart from us in the Jesus family, many have never had a smile in the last five years on our street. We don’t have records so we don’t know how many have committed suicide.”
The clergyman dismissed insinuations that he has been speaking because he is interested in running for Presidency
”If they dash me presidency, I wouldn’t take it. I knew that 1984, not now. I am not talking about Presidency. It is not an area I am called to. It is a very great office. It is not my calling.”
The founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo has banned youths with earphones from entering the Church.
Bishop Oyedepo explained that youths with earphones are not ready to hear God’s words, hence they should not be allowed into the Church.
He pointed out that earphones are designed by the devil to block youths from moving forward in life.
The clergyman spoke while addressing his members during Sunday’s Service at the Church’s headquarters in Ota, Ogun State.
According to Oyedepo: “We live in a very rowdy time. Young generation, please listen to me: all these things you plug in your ear will block your way forward. It is designed by the devil to block your way forward.
“No time to hear from God. Many have never heard anything from God. They even plug it in anywhere, on the streets: noise, noise, noise! Zero access to divine guidance. Noise in the morning, afternoon, night.
“We had a situation in South Korea, I saw it in one publication. Now 10,000 Churches were said to close down within 10 years, an average of 1,000 Churches per year. Why? Children, young people will sit down in Church (with earphones): don’t hear nothing Sir.
“I know they don’t do that here because CCU (Crowd Control Unit) is here, you plug something in your ears, while you are in Church? Never. Go somewhere else. Never, you sit down tight, hear the Word or stay on the road. Life is about discipline. I started understanding the Word from the age of 16. I was responding accordingly.”
Bishop David Oyedepo, the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide International aka Winners’ Chapel, has said the coronavirus pandemic is just the beginning of the woes to be visited on the world “before the Lord returns.”
However, quoting from Matthew 24: 7/8; Joel 2:1-3/11; Malachi 4:2 and Malachi 3:10/18; 4:1-3, Bishop Oyedepo noted that “everyone in the army of the Lord will manifest greatness in the thick darkness.”
He further added that those growing while others burn are “in the covenant of financial fortunes” as captured in Mal 3:10, because “being in the covenant places a seed of exemption from the woes of the world on your life.”
The cleric was preaching on the topic “Gateways to Financial Fortunes (4)” at Sunday’s Financial Fortune Banquet service.
According to him, the covenant that can set anyone apart and protect from the worldly woes is “the covenant of giving and receiving”.
His words: “Just like when you stop breathing you start dying, when you stop giving, you start going down. Not just in finance, but in every area of your life. It is not something you do once and for all; it is a once and again covenant.”
Bishop Oyedepo also listed the “vital keys to world financial fortunes” to include: be spiritually minded as prosperity cannot outgrow spirituality, and to engage tirelessly in covenant practice by making giving a lifestyle. Others are walking in financial integrity, which he said is needed in the world now more than ever.
He said where being a Christian used to mean integrity, today, people steal in the church. Another key, he said, is a commitment to being a blessing to the helpless and humanity, as the covenant is not banking, barter or a bureau de change operation. He also added seeking continuous guidance so as not to run into a desert, commitment to thinking and speaking covenant-rooted words, and, finally, to “keep rejoicing to access your returns”.
Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners’ Chapel took to Twitter to state that anyone who doesn’t pay tithe is “under a financial curse” and can never prosper and this has led to an argument.
The founder of Winners’ Chapel International tweeted: “Tithing is an inescapable covenant obligation. Prosperity not just wealth is impossible without tithing, because when you’re not paying your tithe, you’re under a financial curse. #Tithe #Breakinglimits.”
A PhD candidate at Edinburgh University disagreed with Oyedepo, writing: “Tithing cannot create wealth! Wealth creation occurs when you deploy capital to create value. When X gives 1/10 of his earnings to your church, there’s no production or investment, thus he has not created value, but only enriched you. Tithing is a church sponsored ponzi scheme..”
Twitter users have now taken sides, some with Oyedepo and others with the PhD candidate.
Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, has revealed that the church received 62 testimonies of persons healed of COVID-19.
Oyedepo during a live broadcast on Saturday expressed gratitude to God for the healing of the 62 patients via listening to preachings from the church.
The cleric who has been against the closure of churches due to coronavirus declared that the fear of death that comes with the disease was gone and that God has weakened the strength of the pestilence.
He said, “I’m glad to let you know this morning that the number of healings recorded from the testimonies received is now 62. That’s to tell you how God has weakened the strength of this noisome pestilence; anybody can be healed; whoever cares to come to Jesus. Anybody can be healed; whoever cares to come to the Great Physician.
“The Lord sent me with the Word of Faith to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the Word of Faith – clear, no mistake; it’s not a man that sent (me), No.
“Praying for the spirit of fear to lose its grip. It’s Kingdom advancement prayer. Nobody can get saved in death, so praying for men to be kept alive, for the fear of death to be gone.
“That person said (documented testimony from Canada) “suddenly, the spirit of death began to come” but she hooked online and by the Word, the spirit of fear left her. By the Word! What if she had no access online to the Word of life, she would be gone.
“Suddenly, she began to cough, catarrh came in – because fear opens the door to the devil. You are always a victim of what you fear.
“Therefore, the fear of death that coronavirus has come along with, is declared gone and every victim around the world is declared liberated in the name of Jesus.”
Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, has kicked against the bill to make COVID-19 vaccines compulsory in Nigeria.
The bill was co-sponsored by the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, Reps Pascal Obi and Tanko Sununu.
Gbajabiamila’s Bill has since generated a lot of controversies, with critics saying that some of the provisions in the bill appear “draconian.”
The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) had also alleged that lawmakers had been offered $10million to pass the Bill.
Speaking at the Church communion live broadcast , Oyedepo said gang-up agents of the devil were trying to bring a flood of evil upon humanity.
He further stated that something evil was being schemed by some individuals and that people perpetrating it don’t know why.
He said, “You must take a vaccine! Why will you force me to take a vaccine? For what?
“You don’t take vaccines, you don’t go outside the country! How? Where is it coming from?
“Evil scheming of evil men, gang up of agents of the devil, trying to bring a flood of evil upon humanity. And now from the vaccine: autism; from the vaccine: higher mortality rate of deaths.”
The cleric, however, maintained that anything that troubled God’s agenda will be troubled, adding that his outcry over the closure of churches was for the kingdom of God.
“It’s over!! Whatever troubles God’s agenda will be troubled. The most valuable asset to God is the human life.
“If you see me screaming and crying: it’s for the Kingdom, absolutely so. You mean you keep God’s people, block their access to spiritual food for 4 weeks, 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 7 weeks and you are going to the market, buying and eating with 10 fingers. You kept students from school.
“This is an imported virus, how has it become our own? Why must we now have it?
“There is something going on here! Something evil is being schemed by some individuals and those who are perpetrating it don’t even know,” he further stated.
Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church, a.k.a Winners Chapel, has come under attack for criticising the reopening of markets while churches remained closed in Nigeria.
As part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Nigerian government banned religious gatherings till further notice.
FELLOW PRESS earlier reported that the clergy man had criticized the government for shutting down churches but reopended markets, adding that there were hidden agender.
However, Oyedepo speaking on Wednesday morning during the Covenant Hour of Prayer programme of the Church, said the continuous closure of churches was suspicious.
He disclosed that the Lord told him that it was part of moves to stop the church of God from expanding.
His comments did not go down well with some Nigerians on social media.
They criticised Oyedepo for taking such stance, adding that the church is not essential like the market, hence the closure should not be politicised.
Here are some comments gathered from Twitter:
@Justinabenson10 “It is quite simple for me, churches aren’t running “essential services” like our markets offer. Bishop Oyedepo of all people should understand this. So who has died because he couldn’t go to church or mosque? Same can never be said of the markets, people need to re-stock supplies.”
@Ogbenibambam “I guess Bishop Oyedepo is fighting for his pocket and not God, No one can fight the battle of the Lord.”
@Abdrahimnda “This is why we are so poor in mind, in thoughts and pockets. We think everything is about religion. Why won’t people go to markets for 6hours? Will you feed them at the church? Or is it that prayers and worships are no more accepted at homes?
@Boxypiper “Churches aren’t running essential services papa.
Do you know what it means for Muslims not to pray on Fridays during Ramadan?
@Ichinazam “Even the Bible preaches of quarantine. God told Moses that if someone had leprosy he had to separated from everyone and kept in isolation. Stop free styling with Christianity and read your bible. Spreading false information like this damages our beliefs.”
@Kene_Onyemaeme “Meanwhile his churches in UK and US are still closed but his Nigerian churches should operate. What do you take Nigeria for? The lockdown was partially lifted because of the impending economic implications on the masses, instead of his Church to support the government he’s smelling a rat.
@Lorenzodgenius “Market is a place where people go to buy basic things they need to survive, church is not. If Oyedepo is a common man, can he and his family survive without food stuffs. What purpose does the church serve right now? This is not about being sentimental, no need for church now.”
@Wolenchy02 “Sentiment aside, Bishop is making sense.Church is more organised than the market and bus stops though, so God help us.”
@Cephas_Basu “He has a point about the church being more orderly than the market. But please all these Pastors should know that not everything is an attack on the church. The paranoia is too much.”
@Supaflyest “Papa doing the most to secure his bag, hurts bad when you suddenly stop seeing free weekly money. Growth and expansion of the church worldwide but 95% of the members are not growing. Market provides food but the church wouldn’t. You are not going to eat the words.God is everywhere!
@Obianuju_Obakpu “What people fail to understand is that we Christians are the church. The body of Christ. Not the building!. No body was stopped from praying and holding services with family in their houses. So you can pray in your house. Market is opened because we have to eat. Eat food!”
Bishop David Oyedepo, the Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel International, has questioned the continuous closure of churches over the COVID-19 pandemic, saying he suspects ulterior motives.
Oyedepo, who spoke during the Covenant Hour of Prayer Programme on Wednesday, said if markets could be opened for six hours, there was no reason churches should not be opened for two hours.
The revered cleric said he believed there was a gang up against the growth of the church in the country.
He said, “There is something wrong. For people to be allowed to be in the market for six hours and can’t be in church for two hours, it is an upside-down way of looking at things.
“Which one is more orderly? The market or the church?
“I can smell a rat. The Lord spoke to me on it so strong yesterday. I can smell a rat. Behind all this, how do we stop the church from exploding? The people involved don’t know it.
“The voice of darkness is influencing people at various levels, targeting the church because the growth and expansion of the church is the greatest headache of the devil. But the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The devil and all his agents shall surely pay for this.
“I don’t know what hospital that records the kind of healings that the church of God records. And now hospitals, where people die every day, are open, but the church is closed because the oppression of the devil has no medical cure.”
Earlier, the President of the LoveWorld Incorporated, aka Christ Embassy, Chris Oyakhilome, had slammed church leaders who agreed to the lockdown of churches without praying and consulting with other pastors.
The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said the days of President Muhammadu Buhari are numbered in Nigeria
Oyedepo, lamenting the state of the nation, described Buhari as a bad leader, adding that his government is the worst in the history of Nigeria.
He made the statement on Sunday while delivering a sermon during the second service of the church at the Faith Tabernacle, Ota, Ogun State.
According to him, Buhari’s government had no direction and is like a curse on Nigeria.
“In my view you are bad and you shouldn’t be a leader. I have the right to say so. As far as I am concerned, I am a true born and thoroughly-bred Nigerian, an intelligent one.
“In my view, this is the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria, this government. It is the worst and in fact, it is like a curse.
“I led the first prayer and fasting for Nigeria in 1979, that tells you I am not a baby in the affairs of Nigeria.
“This is the worst government, a government with no direction. Their days are numbered. I can tell you as a prophet that their days are numbered.”
Oyedepo also made reference to the hate speech bill being sponsored by Senator Sabi Abdullahi
He went further to describe the bill as the most ridiculous and stupid bill anyone could think of.
The cleric queried the strategy of the government to criminalise hate speech while giving freedom to those who kill others
Oyedepo added, “The government in this country is making a draconian law – hate speech. They said if you speak hatefully, you have committed murder. Out of someone who says I will kill you and the one who kills, who has committed a crime? I don’t understand which kind of animal farm we live in.
“I said stop stepping on my toes and you said that is hate speech but somebody kills and he is walking free on the streets.
“This is the most stupid and nonsensical ideal anybody can think of.”
The management of ThisDay Newspapers Limited has suspended indefinitely two of its deputy editors, Mr. Yemi Ajayi and Mr. Olawale Olaleye, over the false report about the United States’ embassy denying Bishop David Oyedepo, senior pastor of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, visa.
The report which was published last Friday January 31st, claimed the 65-year-old clergyman was denied US visa and in anger, created a scene at the embassy.
However, the newspaper said the deputy editors were suspended after it investigated the publication and found that they “failed to follow its well-established traditions of carrying out the necessary checks and confirmations expected of personnel of their status in a sensitive story of that nature.”
Bovi has demanded for an apology from ThisDay newspaper after they apologized to Bishop Oyedepo for the false report that he was denied US visa.
ThisDay editor issued an apology printed on their paper to the Winners Chapel founder. In the Editorial, it was stated that the report that Oyedepo was denied visa by the US embassy was found to be incorrect and an apology was tendered.
“If you?re apologizing to the Bishop, it is incomplete without recourse to me and my family” Bovi demands an apology from ThisDay newspaper
But comedian Bovi felt the apology was incomplete since he and his wife were not mentioned.
He pointed out that he and his wife Kris Ugboma were mentioned in the report to make it more sensational but when it was time to issue an apology, they left his family out and only apologized to Bishop Oyedepo.
It was claimed in the inital story that Bovi was issued a US visa while his wife was denied.
Bovi said the false report has affected his family greatly and he’s demanding an apology too.
“If you?re apologizing to the Bishop, it is incomplete without recourse to me and my family” Bovi demands an apology from ThisDay newspaper
He wrote: “Dear @thisdaynewspaper Editor, I just woke up to your apology to Bishop Oyedepo about the false story you published on him.
“I’m beginning to question wether you even read the story you’re apologizing for in the first place. Because if you did, you will know that in the reporters bid to add sting to the story, it was stated that I was issued the visa while my wife was denied.
“The slide above shows that neither me nor my wife was at the embassy on the said date, as your report suggests. Did you think my name and that of my wife in your sensational story were inanimate objects? Are you trying to measure us? What makes you think that the spice you added in cooking a poisonous meal should not be sifted as you try to purify your brand? Do you have any idea how damaging your story was to our peaceful life? Do you know how many calls and texts we had to respond to because of your story?
“What you have done is irresponsible, unprofessional, condescending and indecent. Your job is based primarily on research and information gathering. So if you really do not know me, note that I’m as global as your mind can imagine.
“If you’re apologizing to the Bishop, it is incomplete without recourse to me and my family.
I urge you to further your education to avoid such errors in future. Thank you.”
Bishop David Oyedepo, the senior pastor of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, has denied reports claiming he was refused a visa by the US Embassy.
Earlier today, Thisday newspaper published a report claiming the clergyman was denied a visa at the United States embassy in Lagos state.
However, a statement released by the Chairman of the church’s editorial and media board, Prof. Sheriff Folarin, said Oyedepo was never at the US Embassy or Consulate on Thursday and was never denied a visa. Read the statement below:
Mainstream and online media spaces this morning were abuzz with the news that Bishop David Oyedepo was denied entry visa to the United States on Thursday, January 30, 2020. We wish to put it on record and categorically submit that this piece of information is NOT TRUE. At no time was the Bishop denied visa, nor did he create a scene at the US consulate in Lagos, as purported by some mainstream and online newspapers.
The Bishop renewed his visa, last year, without any initial denial or drama, or scene. The Bishop was NOT at the Embassy or Consulate yesterday or even anytime this year. Bishop has been in Canaanland all this week. The last time he applied for visa, which was last year, he was issued without delay.
We have been in touch with the US Embassy and they are as surprised as we are about this FAKE NEWS, which some media houses decided to spread.
We encourage the Nigerian media to always tow the line of due diligence before rushing to press and try to at least reach the church from time to time, whenever items try to pass through the rumour mill. Professionalism and wisdom require this so as to maintain integrity and make the media trusted in the society, particularly in this age that fake news has become The News.
Bishop Oyedepo is a good friend of the US government and has a very good relationship with US Embassy and Consulate in Nigeria. He is a social entrepreneur, who has touched so many lives in Nigeria, Africa, United States and all around the world.

Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners Chapel was reportedly offered the visa he was initially denied by the Lagos office of the United States embassy after a phone call he made.
Recall FELLOW PRESS reported that the clergy created a scene at the facility as he insisted that he has not violated any rules or committed any crime to have warranted being denied a renewal of his visa. When he told his bodyguards to get his phones so he can make some calls, he was reportedly told he cannot make calls within the precincts of the visa-issuing section of the embassy.
A protege of Apostle Johnson Suleman, Obiwest Utchaychukwu who served an update on the incident said Bishop Oyedepo was granted visa after a phone call.
The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo was denied visa by the Lagos office of the United States Embassy on Thursday January 30.
Why Bishop Oyedepo was denied a US visa by the embassy wasn’t made clear but he was given the standard default explanation of not being qualified for visa renewal and was urged to try again.
Eyewitnesses alleged that the Pastor and businessman created a scene at the facility as he insisted that he has not violated any rules or committed any crime to have warranted being denied a renewal of his visa.
Bishop David Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), has called on Nigerians to reject the Hate Speech Bill in its entirety.
He made his position known at the church’s Shiloh annual event and monitored by FELLOW PRESS on Tuesday.
Oyedepo said the government wants to gag critical voices because it had failed to carry out it’s constitutional responsibilities.
He said, “They said hate speech. That’s the craziest idea ever. So if you are wrong, they shouldn’t say you are wrong? If the road is bad, they cannot say the road is bad? You cannot silence a prophet.
“Are we going forward or backward as a nation? Are the roads better? So why are you not talking? Let’s join hands together and evil shall not prevail.
“They are not hanging killers and they want to hang speakers. That bill is dead on arrival.”
Bishop David Oyedepo, the leading pastor of Winners Chapel, has divulged how he escaped death in a plane crash during his recent journey on Cyprus-Israel flight.
Oyedepo said pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, had visited him unannounced and prayed for him. That, according to Oyedepo, was responsible for the aversion of the plane crash which could have led to his death.
Oyedepo has been near death three times in air transit.
Further narrating how his safety was secured by God, the report from Camptain Samual Adegoga, about the journey reads:
“The main malfunction we had in the Cyprus-Israel flight was a stabilizer twin-motor failure. During the said flight that we had the twin motor failure, the auto-pilot could no longer exert the desired pressure to keep the aircraft in the required altitude for stability flight.
“The captain disconnected the auto-pilot, took and returned the aircraft to the required altitude for that phase of the flight. Because the aircraft was out of trim during this takeover, the aircraft abruptly pitched off with much pitch force.
“The captain counteracted it with a pitch down force. These counter forces caused turbulence and movement in the cabin and cargo hold. Heavy items in the cargo section fell from their compartment, making a loud noise, ” the pilot wrote.
“We thank the God of this commission for making the pilot to react promptly. Similar failures in the past have resulted in fatal accidents due to lateness of pilot’s reaction,” Adebisi added.
However, while the pilot saw the incident as mechanical malfunctioning, Bishop Oyedepo said the averted air disaster was a spiritual attack.
His words: “According to the word of God, before the great and dreadful day of the Lord will hit the earth, there will be a restoration of sonship and fatherhood to the body of Christ.
“On Friday preceding the journey that we made, my father in the Lord showed up at 6:30 early in the morning and saw a vision and wasn’t sleeping, and said, ‘Lord, Lord, why seek the living among the dead? No, no…’ So, he took off and landed here before 6:30am. No, there was no idea that he was coming, and there was no discussion after it. The heart of the father will be drawn to the heart of the son to defend.
“Understand what I’m saying. You don’t have inheritance in a pastor; you don’t have in a teacher. Many of us have teachers all our lives. Did they share anything with you when they died? Did any teacher write your name in his will? You only have an inheritance with a father. A good man leaves an inheritance for his children to inherit. Fatherhood is not an accolade, it is a revelation. So, that was not technical failure, it was a spiritual attack that Jesus averted.
“Every prophet sent to you is ordained a father. Elisha shouted: ‘My father! My father!‘ He was the son of Sherphat. Elijah was not his biological father, but he was a prophet sent to him…Every prophet sent to you is sent as a father, not as brother, not as an uncle, not as a friend. I have enjoyed this kind of covering all my life.”
David Oyedepo, Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, on Friday recounted how he escaped a “potential plane crash” alongside those travelling with him.
Oyedepo shared the testimony at the ‘Breakthrough Service’ held at the church’s world headquarters in Ota, Ogun State and broadcast to all the zonal centres of the church in Ota and Lagos.
The Bishop told the congregation that the aircraft plunged into crisis mid-air, but “God took control and landed the plane.”
He said: “There was a mid-air crisis, there was serious turbulence, but there was no apprehension. Jesus took control. He landed the plane safely. And we were just celebrating the faithfulness of God.”
Although he did not disclose where he was going or coming from when the incident happened, a source told us that he might have been returning from London.
The Bishop said he would give the details of the incident at a thanksgiving service later on. After sharing the testimony, the bishop led the congregation to sing a thanksgiving chorus.
Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and presiding Bishop of the megachurch, Living Faith Church Worldwide International, AKA Winners Chapel, has invoked God’s curses on those fueling Southern Kaduna killings, saying God should break up Nigeria now if it is His will.
The Bishop who, during a ministration and while raining down curses on those promoting the wanton killings, equally said that God sent him to this continent as His apostle of liberation to stop it from decadence.
“God sent me as His apostle of liberation to this continent to stop it from decadence.” “I heard from God and He has proved it beyond measure. Therefore, every occultic root, every political root of this uprising is cursed today!”
The congregation shouted “Amen!”
“All the northern forces that are sponsoring this uprising and killings, i decree the curse of God upon them.”
Congregation shouted “Amen!” Speaks in tongues.
Continuing, he said, ” Lord, if it is your will to break up Nigeria, break it now!” Speaks in tongues again.
To his members, he said, “Come on, pray in the spirit everybody. Pray in the spirit, open fire, call down the Holy Ghost fire to descend on the camp of the enermy. Enough is Enough!”
Speaks in tongues again.
“If Nigeria wakes up, wait for the church to rise. There will be no more nation, what nonsense.”
“What demonic devils. What Islamic demons. If Nigeria waits for the church to rise, Nigeria will disappear as a nation.” Speaks in tongue.
“You mean God cannot protect people? What a mess!” “Every agent of destruction in Government today, call fire down on their head, call fire down on their head.”
“Everyone sponsoring evil against the nation, let your fire fall on him!” \
“A Boko Haram agent was captured and they said he escaped. Everyone connected to his escape, fire consume them, consume them, consume them!”
To his congregation, he said, “Go ahead and pray.” Prays in tongue. “Fire of the Lord consume them!” “I was even told from report that they were targeting this church. I said what?”
“Even if i was asleep, if you see anybody here kill him! Kill him and spill his blood on the ground. I am saying that to you, what nonsense, what devil. You think our God is an idol?” The faithful shouted “No!”
“If I put fire on your tail to overrun the city, you will do it in one minute. What is that? What devil?”
“I stand today with every authority on me, and I declare the Boko Haram camp cursed!”
“I declare their collaborators cursed! I decree their sponsors cursed!” “I declare their collaborators cursed. I decree their sponsors cursed!” “Must the north continue to rule?” “What devils!”
“God has anointed me to lead a revolution against the Islamic jihadist and as the Lord liveth and as the anointing of Jeru-Baal that’s on me, we declare them extinct in the name of Jesus!”
“You catch anyone that looks like them, kill him!”
“There is no reporting to anybody. Kill him! Pull off his neck! And we spill his blood on the ground. What nonsense.”
“They said why should Christians say they could defend themselves, hold it! What stupid statement, why should Christians say they could defend themselves? So, they should watch for you to put a knife to their necks?”
“You think we are dummies? What! What?” “All those zeros census they are fake. Where are the human beings?”
“Where are they? We go around the place. Where are they?” “We’ve never had a successful census in this country. Where are they?”
“Don’t mistake only those in politics as in power. The anointed in the Lord are the ones in power. By divine ordination, don’t mistake that.”
“There was a king in the land but Elijah was determining the events of the nation.” “If i say it will not rain here for three years, it will not drop. What nonsense!”
“Who born their mother, who born their father? They are too small.”
“Come! Get excited and walk in confidence. Any devil that misbehaves around you will be slain by the fire!” A thunderous “Amen” echoed from the congregation.
The move by the RCCG’s pastor comes in line with the Financial Regulations Council, FRC’s regulation which stipulates that heads of all registered churches, mosques and civil society should not exceed the 20 years mark in office.
Based on the stipulation, other clerics including Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries who has spent 22 years as the general overseer of the ministry, Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel who has spent 35 years, Bishop Mike Okonkwo of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission who has also spent 35 years in service, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi of the Deeper Life Bible Church who has spent 43 years, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor of Word of Life Bible Church, 29 years, Rev.
