A member of the victorious Team Port Harcourt, Ifeakachukwu Nmor, who won six gold to the admiration of the spectators, told NAN that he was far ahead of other swimmers in the Games.

“I had been a professional swimmer before I gained admission to UNIPORT, so, the competition here is just for me to enjoy myself.

“I have participated severally in many championships both in Nigeria and outside, so, the performance here is to warm myself up for a bigger challenge.

“I hope to step up my game for other challenge, but this NUGA has been a good show for me,” Nmor said.
