Following his exit from the Peoples Democratic Party, Doyin Okupe has shed more light about his disposition on the political parties in the country.
Mr. Okupe, a former Senior Special Assisitant on Public Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan, in an interview on Channels TV said both PDP and All Progressives Party are “expired drugs” and as such he could not live on expired party.
His words: “APC and PDP have become political platforms that have expired. Why should I live on an expired party.
“The ruling party APC has also expired or in the process of expiring. You wait and see. You know the Yoruba says that when people are cutting the tree in the forest, the elders knows where it will fall. I’m in that position (of elders).
He also spelt doom for the ruling party APC, saying its fall is inevitable.
“Just few months down the line, the inherent contradiction in APC will become manifest. And the fall of APC will be worse than PDP.
“The fall of APC is inevitable”, Mr. Okupe said.
