Kwara community lauds AbdulRazaq over appointment

The members of Moro Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq Unity Forum on Thursday commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara over the appointment of Mr Moshood Alaka as member of the Committee of Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP).

The commendation is contained in a statement issued by Alhaji Layi Ayinde, the Secretary of the forum.

It noted that the leadership of the forum under Chief Stephen Oke, the Jagunmolu of Shao, Moro Local Government Area, and former commissioner for information in the state, Alhaji Abdulmumeen Katibi, expressed their sincere appreciation to the governor.

It stated that “despite attempt to tarnish the image of Alaka, the governor still found him worthy of the well deserved appointment.

“Alaka has done so much to uplift the economic status of some of our youths, women and vulnerable persons and members of the APC in Moro Local Government,” it said.

The statement observed that by this appointment, members of the forum assured the governor and his performing administration that Alaka, by his antecedents, would bringforth quality performances on his assignments.

It pointed out that under the scheme, the administration would uplift the lives of our youths, women and vulnerable persons in the state.

This, the statement added, cannot but continue to promote the image and boost the fortunes of the APC and AbdulRazaq’s administration, as the God sent architect and promoters of the well-being, progress and overall development of the people of Kwara.

The forum however advised the new appointee (Alaka) to justify his appointment and endeavour to carry along across board, all APC members in the area and the entire state in the discharge of his responsibilities to the people on behalf of the governor.

The forum pledged the continued support of its members to AbdulRazaq and his administration to achieve the determined intention and efforts for the well-being of the people in particular and also to bring forth lasting progress and development to state at large.
