Zamfara State former governor, Senator Ahmed Sani Yerima, has disclosed that he would surely not contest in 2019 for presidency if President Muhammadu Buhari would not be seeking re-election.
Speaking with journalist yesterday in Abuja, the ex-governor who still confessed his loyalty to Mr. President, seconded Buhari’s second term bid during the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress.
The Zamfara West Senator, however noted that he was in politics for “personal aggrandizement but for the sheer glory;” but rather to “serve” and that he has not failed to do that.
Assuring that he would not contest against Buhari, but sure nobody would castigate him if he chose to contest if Buhari refused to.
Recall that the Buhari Support Group, comprising of about 186 groups, on October 27 had openly flag off their support for Buhari’s second term.
