The Association of Nigerian Private Medical Practitioners (ANPMP) has increased efforts to promptly detect mpox disease in private health facilities across Nigeria.
Dr. Kayode Adesola, National President of ANPMP, emphasized the importance of the private sector in addressing health crises. He noted that private practitioners play a key role in healthcare delivery across the country.
The association is collaborating with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to enhance preparedness and implement response strategies, including infection prevention measures. Efforts are ongoing to build a resilient healthcare system in Nigeria through public-private partnerships.
