Ondo lawmaker escapes assassination attempt
A member of Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olugbenga Omole, has escaped an alleged assassination attempt on his life.
It was gathered that unknown gunmen attacked the lawmaker, who is representing Akoko Southwest Constituency 1, on Thursday night March 31, in Akure, the state capital.
The lawmaker who confirmed the incident to journalists in Akure, said the gunmen fired multiple shots at his car.
