N-Power makes clarification on volunteers’ verification
The Federal Government youth empowerment programme, N-Power has made clarification concerning the physical verification of both graduate and non-graduate volunteers.
“Physical verification is only for the graduate volunteers as the non-graduates trainees will be verified at their respective training venues and camps”, reads the announcement on the social media handle.
The verification is an essential part to document the new volunteers in the Federal Government empowerment programme.
The graduate volunteers are paid N30,000 stipend monthly, while non-graduates receive N10,000 for a stipulated duration of 1 year. Although, previous batches had enjoyed between 2 to 3 years before being terminated.
The President Muhammadu Buhari government kick-started the N-Power initiative in 2016 as part of the National Social Investment Program, of which more than 500, 000 youths have benefitted.
