204 new cases of COVID-19 recorded as toll hits 1932

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control in its latest update of COVID-19 report has recorded new 204 cases.

Leading in the report was Kano State with 80, followed by Lagos with 45, then 1w in Gombe.

FELLOW PRESS reports that the report of new cases have skyrocketed in the last one week, signalling scare and threat as the Federal Government announced relax of lockdown which has been for about a month.

NCDC gave breakdown of the new 204 cases of COVID-19 as follows:

80-Kano
45-Lagos
12-Gombe
9-Bauchi
9-Sokoto
7-Borno
7-Edo
6-Rivers
6-Ogun
4-FCT
4-Akwa Ibom
4-Bayelsa
3-Kaduna
2-Oyo
2-Delta
2-Nasarawa
1-Ondo
1-Kebbi

It also added that, “11:50pm 30th April- 1932 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Discharged: 319” and “Deaths: 58.”
