Tinubu and Saraki

President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki has receive adverse reactions following his comment where he criticised the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaji Bola Tinubu.

Saraki had said in his response to Tinubu, titled “The Tinubu Rhetoric: My Response” that the national leader was only supporting President Muhammadu Buhari for re-election because he (Tinubu) also needed the President’s support for his presidency ambition in 2023.

Reacting to the development, the National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Mr Yekini Nabena, said that the Senate President’s insinuation is not premature, and that Tinubu had never made such communication to the party that he was nursing 2023 presidency race.

“This (Tinubu’s ambition) has not been communicated to the party, so I cannot comment on it. Besides, why should anybody be talking about 2023 when we are in 2018? Is anybody God?,” Nabena said.
