The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has described the Wali of Ilorin, Alhaji Shehu Usman Mustapha, as a quintessential and astute community leader with unprecedented tolerance.
The Emir also thanked Allah for gift of examplary life given to the Wali of Ilorin, in a goodwill message to the nonagenarian on his 90th birthday anniversary .
In a statement by his Media Aide, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, Alhaji Sulu-Gambari confirmed that Wali Shehu Mustapha remains one of the highly respected traditional chiefs in the Ilorin Emirate whose love and contributions to the growth and development of humanity are enormous.
“His wise counsels and support for the traditional institution are part of the core values of the peaceful coexistence and harmonious working relationship that exist in our society. We appreciate you as an elder statesman, community leader, traditional chief and fulfilled family.
“May Almighty Allah continue to grant you sound health and wisdom in the meritorious service of the Ilorin Emirate and beyond”, the Emir prayed.
