[UPDATE] Breaking: Multiple explosions hits Maiduguri, killed 11, 5 injured
Not fewer than 11 people have been killed in the Maiduguri multiple bomb attack Tuesday night, which is suspected to be from Boko Haram terrorists.
Dwellers narrated they heard the explosion around Molia Kura, on Damboa road, an outskirt of Maiduguri.
This ordeal has ejected many resident from their homes, as they fled for safety.
8 people died along with suicide bomber and 3 other persons were also killed while 5 injured in the third and fourth explosions.
Sources revealed that the first explosion occurred about 10:15pm, followed by another one. The eye witness said the interval between the second and third explosion is within an hour. Though there is no official report from Security agencies as at the time of filing this report.
The source added that, “It is a foiled attempt by Boko Haram insurgents to infiltrate the town.”
Inquiries from residents of Jiddari Polo area by our correspondent was meet with shocks as they said that they could not really tell where they explosion was coming from.
