Vice President Kamala Harris is trailing Donald Trump in five crucial battleground states, with both candidates locked in a dead heat in two more, according to a series of new polls.
Republican-leaning pollster Trafalgar Group conducted surveys in key swing states that could tip the scales in the 2024 election. The results show Trump leading Harris in Pennsylvania (47% to 45%) and Wisconsin (47% to 46%).
In Michigan, the race is razor-thin, with Trump barely edging out Harris, 47% to 46.6%.
Despite a surge of enthusiasm for Harris following President Joe Biden’s endorsement of her 2024 run, the polls reveal she’s struggling to pull ahead of Trump in these critical states. This trend aligns with previous polling data.
Meanwhile, InsiderAdvantage’s swing-state polling paints a similar picture. Trump maintains a slim lead over Harris in Arizona (49% to 48%), Nevada (48% to 47%), and North Carolina (49% to 48%). In Georgia, the two are deadlocked at 48%.
Both Harris and Trump’s campaigns have yet to respond to these latest findings.
