EFCC boss, Ibrahim Magu, promoted by police

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, has been promoted by the Police Service Commission to the rank of the Commissioner of Police from the level of Deputy Commissioner of Police.

This letter detailing Magu’s promotion was contained in a statement by PSC spokesperson, Ikechukwu Ani, even as 17 other senior police officers were also promoted by the commission.

Among those promoted today are Agbola Oshodi-Glover, an assistant inspector-general of police in charge of Zone 11, Osogbo, promoted to the rank of a DIG, Ghazzali Mohammed, a commissioner of police, administration at force headquarters; and Peace Abdallah, CP, force intelligence bureau, force headquarters, both promoted to assistant inspector general of police.
