A group known as Campaign for Democracy has lambasted the Igbo indigenes owing to the incessant protests by the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB).
The south east chairman of Campaign for Democracy (CD), Dede Uzor A. Uzor opined that the right to peaceful protest was enshrined in the constitution but his group will not be a party to violent demonstration.
CD however, has called on all sympathizers of the two groups in the South East to boycott all the products from the stable of vocal Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka, who described the protesting youths as evil, because “an evil person is not expected to use the product of a saint like Fr Mbaka”.
CD also called on Catholic authority to bring to order its priest, Father Mbaka, as he’s been referred to as “one of the first 1000 best priests in Nigeria”. The group said Mbaka is nothing but a disgrace and will soon lose respect from Catholic community if he did not bring himself under control.
“We are calling on Igbo Christians to also boycott Rev Mbaka’s Ministry, he is a disappointment to Igbo race”, the CD Chairman concluded.
