-Report false, dad is in good health, says son, Michael
-Don Moen has shared Facebook video from Michigan
-Lucky Don’s father has seen three other generations
American gospel singer, Don Moen, was rumoured to have died of ‘stomach pain’ by an online plaform, HoustonChronicle-Tv, but investigations by FELLOW PRESS gave insight that the claim is fake and baseless fabrication.
Upon the rumour of the maestro gospel artiste, a Christian singer Frank Edwards made inquiry through Don Moen’s son, Michael, who debunked the fake story that his father is hale and hearty.
Michael’s said: “Dad is great and in good health. That article is false and just trying to get people to click through to their website. I’ll have dad post something on social media shortly so people know.”
The website had reported that Don Moen died Tuesday morning after “short illness” at a California hospital, General Acute Care (GAC).
The fake article which is riddle with many errors, in part, reads: “American singer-songwriter, Evangelist Don Moen has died after a short battle with stomach pain. His family confirmed that he died early this morning at General Acute Care (GAC) Hospital in California barely a couple of hours after he was rushed to the hospital. ”
Apart from the fact that the hospital named does not exist, the report, also in order to make the story look real, goofed by quoting fake tributes of President Donald Trump and preacher T.D Jakes, without providing sources.
The site wrote of Trump saying, “Don Moen was one of the best healing gospel artistes that the country has ever produced”; and of Jakes saying, “It was a massive shock to me, got so perplexed, just like a dream. I could not believe it at first because of the rampant hoax news dominating social media of late of which I was a victim. A call from his family member confirmed it to me but I am grateful that he’s in the bossom of the Lord.”
Nevertheless, about 3 hours ago, Don Moen posted video, perhaps to debunk the fake report, on Facebook, and captioned it, “July 12, 2017 – Greetings from Michigan!”
It is worth of note to see that Don still have his father still alive, as he shared photo with him, son and grandsons.
Sharing the family photo on Twitter, Don wrote, “Celebrating 4 generations in Minnesota today! Here’s a photo of my Dad, son John holding Bennett and me holding Luke. Love my family!!!”
Nigeria Contemporary Christian artiste, Frank Edwards in 2016 jointly released an album, Grace, with Don Moen with tracks like You Alone, Changing, Hallelujah and hosts of others.
