Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande once exchanged ‘Pete Davidson’ lyrics
Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande once exchanged the singer’s “Pete Davidson” lyrics in a social media post that has now aged perfectly.
In 2018, the “Kardashians” star posted a photo of herself showing her backside as she got into her car and captioned it, “Universe must have my back,” which comes from Grande’s tune about her now-ex-fiancé.
Right on cue, Grande commented, “Fell from the sky into my lap.”
Given Kardashian is currently dating Davidson, the once-normal but now-hilarious interaction resurfaced Monday on Instagram account Comments by Celebs, where fans and followers reeled about the twist of fate.
“This aged beautifully 👩🏻🍳🤌🏼💋,” wrote one fan.
“Spits my coffee out 😂,” joked another.
“This is f–ked,” noted another.
What makes the situation even more bizarre is that this is not the only time the Skims founder has found herself in Grande’s musical space. She most recently captioned a February post with the pop star’s “Just Like Magic” song.
After fans entered a frenzy over the caption, sources told Page Six exclusively it was “pure coincidence” and Kardashian did not intentionally reference the track.
The “Saturday Night Live” comic and Grande, both 28, ended their engagement in October 2018, just five months after their romance began. The Grammy winner went on to marry real estate agent Dalton Gomez in May 2021.
Meanwhile in November, Kardashian, 41, and Davidson are dating. While it does not look like this couple will be getting engaged at a rapid pace, the relationship has gotten serious enough that the “Big Time Adolescence” star has met the reality star’s daughter North West.
“I mean, I am a relationship kind of girl, for sure. I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t plan on spending a lot of my time with them,” Kardashian recently explained to Robin Roberts of her relationship with Davidson.
“Obviously I wanna take my time, but I’m very happy and very content, and it’s such a good feeling just to be at peace.”
Kardashian was previously married to Kanye West, with whom she shares North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
