Late Osinachi’s case transferred from FCT police command
The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has transferred the case of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.
The 42-year-old ‘Ekwueme crooner’ passed away last Friday, April 8, in an Abuja-based hospital.
Following her death, her close friends/family members alleged that she died in the hospital while treating herself after her husband kicked her on the chest during one of his many physical attacks on her.
Subsequently, her Husband, Mr. Peter Nwachukwu was arrested on Sunday April 10, on grounds of suspected culpable homicide.
A new update from the FCT command says the matter has been moved to the homicide department of the SCIID where Mr Nwachukwu is now being detained.
