“She received an alert with a narration for vendor payments under the school feeding programme,” Nasir explained. “Realizing she wasn’t part of the programme, she reported the issue to our office. Upon reviewing her bank statement, and with verification from the auditor-general’s office, we confirmed her claims.”

Following the verification, Governor Dikko Radda directed that Abdulkadir-Yanmama be recognized for her exemplary act of integrity. Alongside the N500,000 cash reward, she received a commendation letter and an invitation to participate as a vendor in the school feeding programme.
